Cast
Two characters on opposite ends of the same road, and the brother who became the thing they are running from.
01 · The Face
Ronin
A masterless warrior in black kintsugi armour. Once the Emperor’s elite guard until he discovered the truth. He defected. He holds his form through presence: no past regret, no future projection, only the now.
He is who you want to become.
02 · The Heart
Hachi
A small terrified tanuki who cannot access the courage he was born with. He is who you actually are: shaken out of positions by panic, carrying luck he cannot reach, watching a warrior who never flinches and trying to understand how.
He is the community mirror.
03 · The Fear
Karashi
Hachi’s own brother. Same litter, same wound, different response. He could never master the shapeshift so he built a machine to fake it. He rules by spreading the one thing he cannot face.
The empire of fear has a pilot, and the pilot is terrified.
The only monster in the room is the one you built yourself.
